We are only 10 days away from our departure! For those not aware, Renee and I are moving to Kyoto for the next year. It’s been a whirlwind of preparation over the last few weeks, but most of the ‘to-do’ list is finished and we are excited to be heading abroad. We spent a week together exploring Kyoto and Osaka in 2005, but this of course will be a quite larger adventure!
We have been trying to minimize what we will bring with us, but for a year-long trip we still plan on taking quite a lot. We’re hoping eight suitcases/boxes between the two of us will be enough space! Our apartment in Kyoto will be furnished (although we don’t really know what that means, exactly... layout? hah! We only know its location in Kyoto for now), and we received good news that our rent has been discounted 20%. Huzzah!
p.s. primitive parallelepiped numbers are cool . . .
