Only in Japan...
Early this afternoon we heard some drumming sounds and looked out the window to discover... a parade going right past our front door. There were several floats like this one, some carried by children, others by women and others by men. Very cool!
Niwa niwa niwa niwa tori ga imasu. -- In the garden, there are two birds. Gochiso sama deshita. -- It was a feast! (Said, after a meal, in thanks.) O-temae chodai itashimasu. -- Thank you.
