Imperial Hacky Sack

This weekend, Kyoto Imperial Palace's grounds were open to the general public. In celebration, they held a kemari demonstration. They said kemari was a form of football from the Heian period (794-1185) using a large deerskin ball. But, to me, it's a game of hacky sack with imperial robes. Sweet!
